And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
