Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
