The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
