The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
