The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The Calamity! 1 What is the Striking? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
