T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. 5 Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. 6 Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. 7 God - there is no deity save Him; His [alone] are the attributes of perfection! 8 Has the story of Moses reached you? 9 When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire." 10 So when he came to it, a voice was uttered: O Musa: 11 Verily I! I am thy Lord: so take off thy shoes; verily thou art into the holy valley, Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you. Therefore, listen to what shall be revealed. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah – there is no God except I – therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 Surely the hour is coming-- I am about to make it manifest-- so that every soul may be rewarded as it strives: 15 "Therefore, let not the one who believes not therein (i.e. in the Day of Resurrection, Reckoning, Paradise and Hell, etc.), but follows his own lusts, divert you therefrom, lest you perish. 16 "Now, what is this in thy right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 Allah said: cast it down, O Musa! 19 Moses threw it on the ground and suddenly he saw that it was a moving serpent. 20 "Catch it," said He, "and have no fear; We shall revert it to its former state. 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
