The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
