Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 Whatever they have done has been recorded in the Books (records of the deeds). 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
