And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 and then We will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate Lord, 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 And once again: We shall save [from hell] those who have been conscious of Us; but We shall leave in it the evildoers, on their knees. 72 When Our clear verses are recited to them the unbelievers say to the believers: 'Which of the two parties has a better position or company?' 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 And God shall increase those who were guided in guidance; and the abiding things, the deeds of righteousness, are better with thy Lord in reward, and better in return 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 Indeed not. We shall record what he says and shall prolong the punishment for him. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worship and shall become their adversaries instead. 82
