۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
