O ye who believe! seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. 153 And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not. 154 Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere, 155 and in difficulty say, "We are the servants of God and to Him we shall all return". 156 Their Lord will bestow great blessings and mercy upon them; such are the people who are rightly guided. 157 ۞ Safa and Marwah are among the symbols set up by God; there is nothing wrong if anyone goes on a pilgrimage to the House, or performs a minor pilgrimage, in walking to and fro between them. Of anyone who does good of his own accord, God is appreciative, and aware. 158 Lo! Those who hide the proofs and the guidance which We revealed, after We had made it clear to mankind in the Scripture: such are accursed of Allah and accursed of those who have the power to curse. 159 Excepted, however, shall be they that repent, and put themselves to rights, and make known the truth: and it is they whose repentance I shall accept - for I alone am the Acceptor of Repentance, the Dispenser of Grace. 160 Those who deny the truth, and die as deniers, on them shall be the curse of God and of angels and of men altogether. 161 Their punishment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be reprieved. 162 Your God is one God. There is no deity save Him. He is the Compassionate, the Merciful. 163
