Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
