Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
