The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 there is no denying its coming 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 Those! they shall be the brought nigh, 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 On lined couches, 15 reclining on them facing each other; 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 The Companions of the Right 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 and clustered bananas, 29 and shade extended, 30 And water poured out 31 And plenty of fruits. 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
