Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 We know that which the earth takes of them (their dead bodies), and with Us is a Book preserved (i.e. the Book of Decrees). 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 and Ad and Pharaoh, the brothers of Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Did We fail in the first creation? But they are in confusion over a new creation. 15
