The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 So those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 And those on the left hand; how miserable shall those on the left hand be! 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 and a lesser number from the later generations. 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 like hidden pearls, 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and continuous shade, 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For the sake of the companions of the right hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
