Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
HAS THERE COME unto thee the tiding of the Overshadowing Event? 1 Many faces will be contrite on that day, 2 Labouring, wearied out, 3 Scorched by burning fire, 4 Made to drink from a boiling spring. 5 No food for them save the bitterness of dry thorns, 6 Neither nourishing nor banishing hunger. 7 [And] some faces will on that Day shine with bliss, 8 well pleased with the result of their striving, 9 In a high Garden. 10 Where they shall hear no (word) of vanity: 11 Wherein is a gushing spring, 12 therein uplifted couches 13 Goblets placed (ready), 14 and cushions arrayed 15 And rich carpets spread. 16 Look they not at the camels, how they are created? 17 how the heavens are raised up high, 18 And at the mountains, how they are rooted and fixed firm? 19 And the earth, how it was spread out? 20 And so, [O Prophet,] exhort them; thy task is only to exhort: 21 you are not their keeper. 22 But whoso is averse and disbelieveth, 23 Allah will punish him with a mighty Punishment, 24 Surely to Us is their turning back, 25 then upon Us shall rest their reckoning. 26
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
