۞ Have you not seen those who befriend a people with whom Allah is wroth? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear falsely while they know. 14 Allah has prepared for them a severe torment. Evil indeed is that which they used to do. 15 They took their [false] oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah, and for them is a humiliating punishment. 16 Neither their wealth nor their children will be able to protect them against God. They will be the dwellers of hell fire wherein they will live forever. 17 On the day that Allah will raise them up all, then they will swear to Him as they swear to you, and they think that they have something; now surely they are the liars. 18 Satan has gained mastery over them, and has caused them to remain oblivious of the remembrance of God. Such as these are Satan's partisans: oh, verily, it is they, the partisans of Satan, who will truly be the losers! 19 Surely (as for) those who are in opposition to Allah and His Apostle; they shall be among the most abased. 20 Allah has written: “Surely I will prevail; I and My Messengers.” Verily Allah is Most Strong, Most Mighty. 21 You shall not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day befriending those who oppose Allah and His Messenger even though they be their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. He has inscribed faith in their hearts and has strengthened them with a spirit from Him, and He shall make them enter Gardens beneath which rivers flow. Therein they shall abide. Allah is well-pleased with them, and they are well-pleased with Him. They belong to Allah's party. Verily Allah's party shall prosper. 22
