Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
