۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
