1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 apart from God, and guide them unto the path of Hell! 23 And stop them, for they must be questioned. 24 "What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one another (as you used to do in the world)?" 25 No indeed; but today they resign themselves in submission 26 They will turn to each other saying, 27 They say: Lo! ye used to come unto us, imposing, (swearing that ye spoke the truth). 28 The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers, 29 “And we did not have any control over you; but in fact you yourselves were rebellious.” 30 Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom). 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals. 34 Verily when it was said unto them: there is no god but Allah, they ever grew stiff-necked. 35 And they used to say, “Shall we forsake our Gods upon the sayings of a mad poet?” 36 In fact he has brought the Truth, and testified for the Noble Messengers! 37 “You surely have to taste the painful punishment.” 38 And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do - 39 But for the sincere worshipers of Allah, 40 Whose provision is predetermined -- 41 Fruits (Delights); and they (shall enjoy) honour and dignity, 42 In Gardens of peace. 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring, 45 white, sparkling (wine), a delight to the drinkers. 46 Wherein there is no headache nor are they made mad thereby. 47 And with them will be maidens (houris) who restrain their wide glances 48 As though they were eggs hidden. 49 So one among them turns to the other, questioning. 50 A speaker from among them shall say: Surely I had a comrade of mine, 51 Who used to say: Art thou in truth of those who put faith (in his words)? 52 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be recompensed?" 53 He shall say: Will you look on? 54 He will look down and see him in hell. 55 and says: "By God! Verily, thou hast almost destroyed me [too, O my erstwhile companion] 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 "Is it (the case) that we shall not die, 58 Other than our first death, and we shall not be punished? 59 Most surely this is the mighty achievement. 60 For the like of this then let the workers work. 61 Is that better as a hospitality, or the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum? 62 Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers. 63 Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, 64 Its crop is as it were the heads of devils 65 They will eat from it and fill their bellies with it; 66 then on top of it they have a brew of boiling water, 67 then their return is to Hell. 68 They found their fathers erring, 69 So they (too) were rushed down on their footsteps! 70 And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them, 71 And assuredly We sent among them warners. 72 So behold what wise hath been the end of those who were warned. 73 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 74
