Consultation (Al-Shooraa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ha-Mim. 1 A'in. Sin. Qaf. 2 Thus God, the Powerful, the Wise, sends revelation to you as He did to those before you. 3 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth, belongs to Him. He is all-high and supreme. 4 The heavens almost break from above them, and the angels exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Unquestionably, it is Allah who is the Forgiving, the Merciful. 5 And Allah is watching those who have chosen supporters besides Him; and you are not responsible for them. 6 And thus have We revealed to you an Arabic Quran, that you may warn the mother city and those around it, and that you may give warning of the day of gathering together wherein is no doubt; a party shall be in the garden and (another) party in the burning fire. 7 If God had willed, He would have made them one nation; but He admits whomsoever He will into His mercy, and the evildoers shall have neither protector nor helper. 8 What! Have they taken (for worship) protectors besides Him? But it is Allah,- He is the Protector, and it is He Who gives life to the dead: It is He Who has power over all things, 9
