The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
