O believers, devour not usury, doubled and redoubled, and fear you God; haply so you will prosper. 130 guard yourself against the Fire prepared for those who deny the truth, 131 Obey God and the Messenger so that you may receive mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord; and a Garden, the extensiveness of which is (as) the heavens and the earth, it is prepared for those who guard (against evil). 133 Those who spend [in Allah's Cause - deeds of charity, alms, etc.] in prosperity and in adversity, who repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers). 134 and who, when they have committed a shameful deed or have [otherwise] sinned against themselves, remember God and pray that their sins be forgiven - for who but God could forgive sins? - and do not knowingly persist in doing whatever [wrong] they may have done. 135 Those -- their recompense is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, therein dwelling forever; and how excellent is the wage of those who labour! 136 There have been examples before you. Journey in the land and see what was the fate of the liars. 137 This is a plain exposition for men, and a guidance and admonition for the Godfearing. 138 Do not, then, either lose heart or grieve: for you shall surely gain the upper hand if you are true men of faith. 139 if you have suffered a wound, they too have suffered a similar wound. We bring these days to men by turns, so that God may know those who believe, and choose witnesses from among you; and God does not love the unjust, 140 This is so that God may try the faithful and destroy the unbelievers. 141 Or did you suppose you should enter Paradise without God know who of you have struggled and who are patient? 142 You had wished to know death before you faced it (in battle); so now you have seen it before your own eyes. 143
