What! is he whose heart Allah has opened for Islam so that he is in a light from his Lord (like the hard-hearted)? Nay, woe to those whose hearts are hard against the remembrance of Allah; those are in clear error. 22 God has sent down the best Message: a Scripture that is consimilar and oft-repeated: that causes the skins of those in awe of their Lord to creep. Then their skins and their hearts soften at the mention of God: such is God's guidance. He bestows it upon whoever He will; but no one can guide those whom God leaves to stray. 23 So will he who will not have a shield except his own face against the wretched punishment on the Day of Resurrection, ever be equal to one who is forgiven? And it will be said to the unjust, “Taste what you have earned!” 24 Those before them rejected (prophets), therefore there came to them the chastisement from whence they perceived not. 25 and thus God let them taste ignominy [even] in the life of this world. Yet [how] much greater will be the [sinners'] suffering in the life to come - if they [who now deny the truth] but knew it! 26 And We have certainly presented for the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example - that they might remember. 27 This Quran is a flawless reading text in the Arabic language. Perhaps they will have fear of God. 28 Allah has struck an example of a man shared by disagreeing partners, and a man who is owned by just one man, are the two equally alike? Praise belongs to Allah, but most of them do not know. 29 Verily you will die, and so will they. 30 Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be disputing before your Lord. 31
