The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 We were promised this before, and so were our fathers. It is but the fictitious story of the ancients' 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Your Lord has many favors for mankind but most of them are ungrateful. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 It is a guidance and grace for those who believe. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
