We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
