The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER these [messages] ranged in serried ranks, 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 surely your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 And they do not understand, when explained to. 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
