Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7
He who is negligent to remember the Merciful One, to him We assign a satan as his boon companion, 36 Satan will prevent them from the right path while they think that they have the right guidance. 37 And when he comes before Us, he shall say: 'Would that there had been between me and you, the distance of the two Easts' Evil is the companion. 38 (He will then be told): “Today it will not benefit you the least that after your wrong-doing you and your satans now share the chastisement.” 39 Can you [Prophet] make the deaf hear? Or guide either the blind or those who are in manifest error? 40 And even if We take you (O Muhammad SAW) away, We shall indeed take vengeance on them. 41 Or show you some of what We have promised them. They are certainly well within Our power. 42 So hold thou fast to the Revelation sent down to thee; verily thou art on a Straight Way. 43 The (Qur'an) is indeed the message, for thee and for thy people; and soon shall ye (all) be brought to account. 44 Yet [above all else,] ask any of Our apostles whom We sent forth before thy time whether We have ever allowed that deities other than the Most Gracious be worshipped! 45
