Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ha-Mim. 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah the Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom. 2 Verily in the heavens and the earth, are Signs for those who believe. 3 In your creation and in that of the beasts living on earth there is evidence of the Truth for the people who have strong faith. 4 And the difference of night and day and the provision that Allah sendeth down from the sky and thereby quickeneth the earth after her death, and the ordering of the winds, are portents for a people who have sense. 5 Such are the Signs of Allah, which We rehearse to thee in Truth; then in what exposition will they believe after (rejecting) Allah and His Signs? 6 Woe unto every liar, sinner! 7 who hears the signs of God being recited to him, then perseveres in waxing proud, as if he has not heard them; so give him the good tidings of a painful chastisement. 8 for when he does become aware of any of Our messages, he makes them a target of his mockery! For all such there is shameful suffering in store. 9 In front of them there is Hell, and that which they have earned will be of no profit to them, nor (will be of any profit to them) those whom they have taken as Auliya' (protectors, helpers, etc.) besides Allah. And theirs will be a great torment. 10 This is guidance. And those who disbelieve the revelations of their Lord, for them there is a painful doom of wrath. 11
