The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the sky and the night comer - 1 Do you know what al-tariq is? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 Let the human reflect of what he is created. 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 emanating from between the loins and the ribs. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 and [man] will have neither strength nor helper! 10 By the heaven which returneth, 11 by earth splitting with verdure, 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 and so am I: 16 Let, then, the deniers of the truth have their will: let them have their will for a little while. 17

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
