And We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them in vain. That is the opinion of those who disbelieve. And woe unto those who disbelieve, from the Fire! 27 Shall We treat those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, the same as those who do mischief on earth? Shall We treat those who guard against evil, the same as those who turn aside from the right? 28 We have sent down a Book to you which is blessed, so that people may apply their minds to its revelations, and the men of wisdom may reflect. 29 We gave David Solomon. He was an excellent servant who always turned to God. 30 [Mention] when there were exhibited before him in the afternoon the poised [standing] racehorses. 31 And he said, "Truly do I love the love of good, with a view to the glory of my Lord,"- until (the sun) was hidden in the veil (of night): 32 "Bring them back unto me!" - and would [lovingly] stroke their legs and their necks. 33 Surely We put Solomon to the test and cast upon his throne a mere body. Thereupon he penitently turned (to Us). 34 Saying: "O Lord, forgive me, and give me such a dominion as none will merit after me. You are the great bestower." 35 So We subjected the wind to him, so that it ran softly by his command wherever he wished; 36 And We subjected to him the evil ones: every builder and diver. 37 And others linked together in chains, 38 We told him, "This is Our gift to you so give them away free or keep them as you like". 39 And he had a near place in Our presence and a fair resort. 40

Notes and Instructions
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
