The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
