Hast thou not regarded thy Lord, how He has stretched out the shadow? Had He willed, He would have made it still. Then We appointed the sun, to be a guide to it; 45 Then He reduces it in gradual steps. 46 And it is He Who made the night a veil for you, and the sleep a rest, and made the day for getting up. 47 And it is He, Who drives the winds to be the harbingers of His mercy: then He sends down pure water from the sky 48 so that He may revive the dead land, and quench the thirst of many of His creatures from among beasts and men. 49 We have indeed turned it about them, so that they remember; yet most people refuse all except disbelief. 50 And if We had willed, We would have raised up in each town a warner. 51 So obey not the unbelievers, but struggle with them thereby mightily. 52 ۞ And it is He who hath mixed the two seas: this, sweet and thirst quenching; that, saltish and bitter; and hath placed between the twain a barrier and a great partition complete. 53 And it is He, Who created man from water: then from him He caused two kinds of kindred, by blood and by marriage: your Lord is AI I-Powerful. 54 And they (disbelievers, polytheists, etc.) worship besides Allah, that which can neither profit them nor harm them, and the disbeliever is ever a helper (of the Satan) against his Lord. 55 We have sent you only as a bearer of glad tidings and as a warner. 56 Say: 'I demand of you no wage for this except for he who wishes to take the Path to his Lord' 57 Put your trust in the One who is the Ever-Living [God], who never dies, and glorify Him with His praise. He is fully aware of the sins of His servants; 58 Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six Days, then He mounted the Throne. The Beneficent! Ask anyone informed concerning Him! 59 And when it is said to them: Prostrate to the Beneficent Allah, they say: And what is the Allah of beneficence? Shall we prostrate to what you bid us? And it adds to their aversion. ۩ 60
