Nay, by the moon, 32 By the receding night 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 a warning to humankind, 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 except those of the right hand 39 [dwelling] In gardens [of paradise,] they will inquire 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
