Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
