The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
