Say: "O men! I am (sent) to you only to give a Clear Warning: 49 Then those who believe and work righteous works - for them is forgiveness and a provision honourable. 50 But the ones who strove against Our verses, [seeking] to cause failure - those are the companions of Hellfire. 51 We sent not ever any Messenger or Prophet before thee, but that Satan cast into his fancy, when he was fancying; but God annuls what Satan casts, then God confirms His signs -- surely God is All-knowing, All-wise -- 52 (This He permits) in order that He makes satan's interjections a temptation for those in whose hearts is a sickness and those whose hearts are hardened and the harmdoers are in a wide schism, 53 And that those who have been given knowledge may know that it (this Quran) is the truth from your Lord, and that they may believe therein, and their hearts may submit to it with humility. And verily, Allah is the Guide of those who believe, to the Straight Path. 54 Those who deny the truth will continue in doubt until the [Last] Hour suddenly comes upon them or the scourge of the woeful Day descends upon them. 55 The order will be God's on that Day; He will judge between them. Then those who had come to believe and done the right will be in gardens of delight. 56 whereas for those who were bent on denying the truth and gave the lie to Our messages, there shall be shameful suffering in store. 57
