Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say, "It is not in my power to cause you either harm or good?" 21 Say: Surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge: 22 (It is) only a delivering (of communications) from Allah and His messages; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Apostle surely he shall have the fire of hell to abide therein for a long time. 23 When they are confronted by what they have been promised, they will realize who is weaker in helpers and fewer in numbers. 24 (Muhammad), say, "I do not know whether that with which you have been threatened is close by or whether my Lord will prolong the time of its coming. 25 "(He Alone) the All-Knower of the Gha'ib (unseen), and He reveals to none His Gha'ib (unseen)." 26 unless it be to an apostle whom He has been pleased to elect [there for]: and then He sends forth [the forces of heaven] to watch over him in whatever lies open before him and in what is beyond his ken 27 That He may know that they have preached the message of their Lord. And He comprehendeth whatever is with them, and He keepeth count of everything numbered. 28
