The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
