When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 and ask them, "Why do you not fear God?" 11 He said, 'My Lord, I fear they will cry me lies, 12 My breast is constricted and my tongue is not fluent, so endow Messengership on Aaron. 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 (It was) said: "By no means. Go with My signs, both of you. I am verily with you and I hear. 15 Go, then, to Pharaoh and say to him: 'The Lord of the Universe has sent us 16 Let the children of Israel go with us!'" 17 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said [to Musa (Moses)]: "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you did dwell many years of your life with us. 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst; and thou art of the ingrates. 19 He said: I did it then while I was of those unable to see the right course; 20 So I ran away from you out of fear. But my Lord has given me wisdom, and made me an apostle. 21 And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "And what is the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?" 23 (Moses) said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if ye had but sure belief. 24 Said he to those about him, 'Do you not hear?' 25 He said, 'Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 26 Said he, 'Surely your Messenger who was sent to you is possessed!' 27 Moses continued: "(He is) the Lord of the east and the west, and all between them. If you only had any understanding!" 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 Musa (Moses) said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?" 30 [Pharaoh] answered: "Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!" 31 (No sooner had he said this than) Moses threw down his rod and behold, it was a veritable serpent, 32 And he drew forth his hand, thereupon it shone bright before the beholders. 33
