Alshu'araa' 6 of 11

The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
