Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 pursuing a straight way 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn him who listens to the warning and fears Ar-Rahman secretly. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
