Y S (Yaa Seen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 On a straight path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
