And a sign for them is the dead earth; We gave it life and We produced from it grain, so they eat from it. 33 and We made therein gardens of palms and vines, and therein We caused fountains to gush forth, 34 That they may enjoy the fruits of this (artistry): It was not their hands that made this: will they not then give thanks? 35 All glory to Him who created pairs of everything that grows from the earth, and out of themselves, and other things they do not know. 36 They have a sign in the night: We withdraw from it the [light of] day -- and they are left in darkness. 37 And the sun runneth on unto a resting-place for him. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Wise. 38 And the moon! For it We have decreed mansions till it reverteth like the old branch of a palm-tree. 39 The sun shall not outstrip the moon, nor shall the night outstrip the day. Each is floating in an orbit. 40 how We carried them and their offspring inside the laden Ark 41 And We have created for them of the like thereunto, so on them they ride. 42 We drown them if We will, then they have none to cry to, nor can they be saved, 43 It is only Our Mercy (that rescues them) and enables enjoyment of life for a while. 44 When it is said to such people: “Guard yourselves against what is ahead of you and what has preceded you that mercy be shown to you” (they pay scant heed to it). 45 Never came a token of the tokens of their Lord to them, but they did turn away from it! 46 And when it is said to them, "Spend from that which Allah has provided for you," those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Should we feed one whom, if Allah had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error." 47 They say: “When will this threat (of Resurrection) come to pass? Tell us if indeed you are truthful.” 48 They are awaiting only for one Cry to seize them while they are yet disputing, 49 Then they would not be able to make a will, or go back to their people. 50
