The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Verily your God is One, 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 This is the Day of Judgment which ye were wont to belie. 21
