THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
