The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He alone is truly-forgiving, all-embracing in His love, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 the armies of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
