We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
