Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 Aye! they marvel that there hath come unto them a warner from among themselves; so the infidels Say: this is a thing wondrous! 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 Surely We know that which the earth consumeth of them, and with Us is a Book preserved. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 and the people of Aykah, and the people of Tubba'. They all gave the lie to the Messengers. Thereafter My threat of chastisement against them was fulfilled. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
